Purpose:
- To computerize all police stations record and provide on-line connectivity to all police offices throughout Pakistan
Cost:
Project Scope::
- All police stations to be connected with DPO Offices, Police Headquarters and main data centre at NPB
- Digitalization of FIRs and all Investigative processes
Completion Period:
Current Status:
- Data Centers at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta established.
- Completion of infrastructure of 80 locations of Lahore, 126 of Karachi, 40 of Peshawar and 21 of Quetta done.
- Procurement of IT equipment and furniture for Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta done.
- Completion of infrastructure of 39 location of Rawalpindi City Police (16 Police Stations and 23 Officers).
- Deployment of IT equipment including thin clients, PC, UPSs, Generators, Faxes and Printers at above locations.
- Helpdesk established at 1-9, Islamabad for responding to immediate troubleshooting of equipment and connectivity.
- Training of over 1000 police personnel completed.
